BBC Sport Launches Daily Football Quizzes: Who Am I?, Five in Five, Brainteaser
BBC Sport offers a set of daily football quizzes designed to test fans' knowledge, with questions set by Flora Snelson and Joe Rindl.
BBC Sport has introduced a daily football quiz feature, inviting supporters to test their knowledge across three distinct challenges. The quizzes are compiled by Flora Snelson and Joe Rindl, who set the questions, clues, and answers for each day's edition.
The first quiz, 'Who Am I?', asks participants to identify a footballer using as few clues as possible. Each incorrect guess unlocks a new clue, and players earn more points by solving the puzzle with fewer hints. This format rewards both deep football knowledge and strategic guessing.
The second challenge, 'Five in Five', requires players to provide five correct answers within a five-minute time limit. The third, called 'Brainteaser', presents a single difficult question, giving participants five lives before the answer is revealed. Together, the three quizzes cover a range of difficulty levels and formats.
For those seeking more, BBC Sport directs users to dedicated Football Quizzes and Sports Quizzes pages, where additional quizzes are available. Fans can also sign up for notifications to receive the latest quizzes directly on their devices. The page includes a call for users to send in their own quiz ideas, suggesting an interactive element.
The launch of these daily quizzes reflects a growing interest in interactive football content, offering supporters a regular way to engage with the sport beyond match coverage. By varying the quiz types, BBC Sport caters to different preferences, from quick-fire rounds to more contemplative puzzles.
