BBC Sport launches WSL 'Who am I?' guessing game
BBC Sport has introduced a Women's Super League player-identification quiz in which users unlock clues after each wrong answer.
BBC Sport has launched a Women's Super League "Who am I?" game that challenges users to identify a mystery WSL footballer using as few attempts as possible. The quiz is the latest addition to the broadcaster's football and sports quiz offerings.
The format rewards efficiency rather than persistence. Each incorrect guess unlocks an additional clue about the unidentified player, and the scoring system is deliberately tight: three attempts is described as a good score, while needing four or five clues is characterised as exceptional.
The clues and the player selection for the current edition were set by BBC Sport's Flora Snelson. The quiz is presented as a recurring feature, with the broadcaster directing users to its dedicated Football Quizzes and Sports Quizzes pages.
BBC Sport is also inviting audience participation beyond gameplay, asking users to submit quiz ideas and to sign up for notifications so that new quizzes are sent directly to their devices.
