Dyche open to Celtic as Jota steps up return
Sean Dyche would consider a Celtic approach, while Jota edges closer to a comeback and Hibs ramp up pre-season under Marink Reedijk.
Sean Dyche would seriously consider taking the Celtic manager's job if the Scottish champions make an approach, according to a gossip report. The former Burnley, Everton and Nottingham Forest boss is said to be open to a mid-season change. No contact has been confirmed by either party, and the report stops short of indicating any formal offer.
At Celtic, winger Jota continued his recovery from an 18-month ACL lay-off by playing 45 minutes in a behind-closed-doors match against Falkirk. His return to match action is a step forward, though no timescale has been given for a first-team comeback. Separately, winger Sebastian Tounekti has returned to the club earlier than planned after Tunisia cancelled a friendly with Mali at short notice.
Elsewhere in the Premiership, new Hibernian manager Marink Reedijk said he has put his squad through what he described as a "pre-season on steroids" at a training camp in Spain. The phrase reflects the intensity of the work rather than any official schedule, and Reedijk is preparing his players for the campaign ahead.
Departing Dundee United player Vicko Sevelj said he left "on a good note" and explained that his move to Neftçi suited both him and the club. His comments frame the transfer as a positive outcome for all involved rather than a contentious exit.
Recruitment interest is also building around 21-year-old TNS left-back Zach Nolan, with clubs in English League One, League Two and the Scottish Premiership reportedly plotting moves. Supporters will watch the gossip with interest, but none of the reported approaches have been confirmed by the clubs concerned.
