Real Madrid Eye McTominay, Olise; Chelsea Keen on De Jong

Real Madrid are keeping tabs on contract negotiations between Scott McTominay and Napoli, with the Spanish club interested in signing the 29-year-old Scotland midfielder at the end of the season, according to Tuttomercato. Manchester United are unlikely to pursue a reunion with their former player, as Football Insider reports they are focusing on younger signings.

Bayern Munich want to extend the contract of France winger Michael Olise, which runs until 2029. Sky Sports Germany suggests he is likely to stay in Germany unless a move to Real Madrid materialises. Olise, 24, has been linked with the Spanish giants.

Chelsea are keen on Barcelona and Netherlands midfielder Frenkie de Jong, 29, as a belated replacement for Enzo Fernandez, who joined Manchester City on transfer deadline day, per Sport. The Blues are looking to reinforce their midfield after Fernandez's departure.

Liverpool hold a £59.5m buyback clause for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jarell Quansah, but the 23-year-old England international is reluctant to return to Anfield, Football Insider reports. Quansah has been linked with Real Madrid and Chelsea. Meanwhile, Manchester United have offered a scholarship contract to 16-year-old attacking midfielder JJ Gabriel, though they could receive only £350,000 in compensation if he moves abroad, according to the Guardian.

Juventus have doubts over on-loan Newcastle United striker Nick Woltemade, 24, and are considering alternatives such as Monaco's Folarin Balogun, 25, Gazzetta dello Sport says. Newcastle and Everton are both interested in Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara, 27, who previously spent two years at Norwich City, according to Webaslan. Hull City are close to signing 18-year-old goalkeeper Deniz Donmezer from Kayserispor for £1.5m, Teamtalk reports.
